Unconnected 2025 is set to take place next January in Abuja. This is Nigeria’s premier conference & expo on telecoms connectivity and  renewable energy, targeting rural and underserved areas. Event’s triple focus is Telecoms, Renewable Energy and Finance. It is a 3-in-1 event involving Workshop, Exhibition and Main Stage Conference. According to Global Digital Insights, about 45.4% of Nigeria’s population lives in rural areas. The World Resource Institute reports that over 85 million Nigerians lack access to electricity. According to Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), nearly 30 million Nigerians in rural and suburban areas are without telecommunications services. A significant portion of the Nigerian population is ‘under-electrified.’ Many lack basic access to telephony, internet, and electricity.
